Abstract :
Modeling as a process has significantly affected the whole plethora of industries worldwide. In this paper we focus on a learning content modeling. Learning content is the most important part of any e-learning system. The content needs to be modeled during the process of creation but there is a lack of modeling tools or even modeling approaches in learning content design. There is no tradition in modeling as opposed to civil engineering, electrical engineering, architecture etc. Traditional conceptual modeling methods are mainly focused on static aspects of domain. They turned out to be insufficient so a new approach called active conceptual modeling was proposed. It embraces all static and dynamic aspects of domain into one model. So we present a new method for learning content active conceptual modeling based on UML.
