Abstract :
In order to make the humanoid robot have a wealth of realistic facial expression, based on the analysis of facial anatomical structure, it utilizes facial action coding system (FACS) and partition the control area which it can use to realize six basic facial expressions in this article. then it builds the flexible model of facial skin which is analyzed and simulated with finite element analysis method. at the end it simulates six basic facial expressions of the humanoid robot (happiness, sadness, fear, surprise, disgust and anger). the research provides important basic data and design reference for the choice of facial skin material and the control of facial expression action of the humanoid robot.
