  • Abstract
Microwave filters are the indispensable part of modern wireless communications, microwave satellite communications and electronic against systems. The advantages of microstrip Band Pass Filter (BPF) are that it is easy in integrating with other RF circuits, that convenient in designing, that small in size and that low in insertion loss. So, it is widely used in RF circuits. This paper will design two types of microstrip BPF, one is the narrow-band BPF use parallel coupled microstrip with one fourth of a wavelength, and the other one is the board-band BPF use stub lines and connecting lines both with a quarter of a wavelength. The paper also simulates and optimizes the filters with ADS (Advanced Design System). The simulation result can satisfy the demand of design.
