Abstract :
Pseudorandom bit generators based on a Dynamic Linear Feedback Shift Register (DLFSR) for application in symmetric cryptography are analyzed. Cryptographic parameters such as maximum period or linear span are obtained for the generated sequences, while several estimations for autocorrelation and cross-correlation of such sequences are also presented. Several remarks regarding DLFSR utilization for cryptographic or CDMA applications are also stated.
