Abstract
The e-mobility wave is all around in industry´s discussion. New machine designs like permanent excited synchronous machines are approaching on the market, especially aimed for use in in distributed energy systems. Beneath constructional challenges towards suited machine design, production planning for different ramp up volume scenarios is one fundamental column for an appropriate market entering. In this paper, different layout approaches for production layouts with three basic scenarios for small prototyping, midsize and mass production are presented.
