Abstract
In order to meet the needs of improving security environment of mining to prevent accidents, backwardness of existing underground voice communication system are deeply analyzed in this paper. By combining embedded WINCE 6.0 system with VoIP(Voice over IP) technology, a new kind of wireless underground voice communication device is designed. And then corresponding realization details are discussed. Empirical results show that the design is realizable and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) can be verified on it. This system could satisfy the current demand for underground communication since it has many merits such as the simple structure, low cost and strong scalability.
