Abstract :
In this work we present a small and very thin rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (Al2O3, εr = 9.8) by the strip-fed method (coax + conducting strip). At the DRA back face we have placed a strip identical to the strip fed. A new method for improving the bandwidth has been presented. As a result, this paper presents the characteristics of a new ultra-wideband antenna (49.50%) for 8GHz and 10GHz applications.
