Abstract :
An E-band heterodyne Radiometer system is designed, fabricated, characterised and calibrated for sensing plasma temperature by measuring Electron Cyclotron Emission (ECE) spectrum from Aditya and SST-1 Tokamak plasma. The developed Radiometer has IF frequency 1-12 GHz, sensitivity O.2×109V/W with a noise figures of 23.8dB and a noise equivalent temperature of 6eV.
