Abstract
Classical Lanchester equation is a simple method to simulate warfare. Because of the great complexity of modern warfare, the number of variables in the equation has increased. This paper proposes a new idea to improve Lanchester equation. We just catch the most crucial factors in every phase and build models, so that equation has fewer variables and is easier to use.
