Abstract
AR bispectrum can describe nonlinear coupling, which can effectively eliminate the Gaussian noise and retains phase information. The AR time series model can be established with the acceleration vibration signals which were gained from the running elevator, based on AR dual spectrum, bispectrum contour and bispectrum diagonal slice to analysis and diagnosis the elevator mechanical faults. Research shows that, the dual spectral in the cases of normal and faults of the elevator are differences and they are easily to distinguish from each other. So AR dual spectrum can be used as a mechanical fault diagnosis method and can be beneficial for fault diagnosis of elevator machinery.
