Abstract
A millimeter-wave active inductor that exploits the current amplification between two spirals of an integrated transformer is herein presented. The circuit has been designed in 65nm bulk CMOS technology. Post-layout simulation results have shown an equivalent inductance of 116 pH with a quality factor exceeding 600 at 55 GHz.
