Abstract :
In this paper, the design of an FPGA based digital fuzzy MPPT controller with the typical DC-DC boost converter is described. We have optimally designed the DC-DC converter intended for PV applications, developed the MPPT digital control function and implemented it on an FPGA circuit. Simulation results show that, the developed system was able to seek the instantaneous maximum power being produced by the PV in all environmental conditions.
