  • Abstract
    Power electronic transformer (PET) has attracted increasing research attention and is becoming one of the key elements of the future power distribution systems, especially in renewable energy related fields. In this paper, a control strategy is proposed for a three-phase three-stage H-bridge based cascaded modular PET, which is comprised of distinct AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC stages. The control strategy consists of input stage part, isolation stage part and output stage part. Detailed analysis of each part is presented, and simulation results verify the analysis.
