Abstract
This paper extends current thinking on information architectures for management of built assets by a) considering the information required to support wider goal of value for money as opposed to cost minimisation; b) the use of through-life information early in the design stage to undertake design iterations to improve value for money; c) considering the Integrated Logistics Support approach in undertaking the relevant support-cost analyses; d) the extension of the information architecture concepts from the project level, to programmes and portfolios.
