Abstract :
Color constancy always has been a challenge for machine vision. Many models using color model spaces proposed for color constancy in varying illumination. In this paper we proposed the behavioral pattern of different color cloths in outdoor conditions. Color variations observed using Lab color space, Standard deviation shows the characterization of colors in plane `a*´ and exponential and Gaussian curves can be best fitted for estimation of standard deviation.
