Abstract
Energy Audit (EA) is indeed a tool and a technique to bridge the gap between the requirement and demand of energy needs, partially and practically. This paper discusses the practical audit methodologies and procedures of conducting water audit, HVAC audit, envelope audit and waste audit of an IT facility, in its first part. In the later part, it deals with the energy saving proposals or energy conservation opportunities found in one of the IT building facilities, done by the authors. Energy saving calculation and cost payback analysis for the investments will also be discussed.
