  • Abstract
Recently the WSN technology has been applied to various network environments. And, the tracking accuracy and the efficiency of the indoor localization technology has been issued from the WSN. Generally, when we performed the outdoor localization, the GPS has a high accuracy. But, the GPS that the localization is performed by using the satellites is not applied the indoor localization. So, we performed the indoor localization by using the WSN technology. In this paper, we suggest a new localization algorithm called a Ratiometric GPS Iteration (RGI) algorithm using the GPS and the RVI. The suggested method estimates an accurate location of any indoor target object through the relative distance ratio by RSSI of RVI and GPS. We execute simulation tests to prove the efficiency of the suggested RGI algorithm.
