  • Abstract
    Blind equalizer has always been a hot issue that causes a great deal of research in modern digital communication system. Constant modulus algorithm (CMA) is a most popular one for the simple and effective. However, CMA algorithm has faster convergence rate but weak tracking performance in steady-state, especially in high-order QAM system. In this paper, a fractionally spaced blind equalizer is designed based on MCADAMA (modified CMA-assisted decision adjusted modulus algorithm) and decision feedback equalizer (DFE), which can not only minimize the ISI problem, but also correct the phase rotations well in a certain extent. Simulation results show the feasibility and stability of the proposed algorithm.
