  • Abstract
Electromagnetic coupling as a most important challenge in adjacent wires is addressed in this paper. Crosstalk as an adverse or beneficent effect in circuit performance must be predicted to have better sight from it. Four poles transfer function is used to extract crosstalk noise waveform. The proposed method is really simple with good agreement and enough accuracy compared to the simulation results. The method can be applied from IC scale to PCB scale wires. Output voltage for both victim and aggressor lines are extracted using the method and verified with HSPICE w-model. Input signal rise times are about 0.1ps which means 10 THz in frequency domain and if one simulate simple pulse with Fourier series need to consider harmonics up to 50 THz to achieve a good approach to estimate the time domain waveform of input signal. Crosstalk noise specification which can be used for data decryption is introduced in the last part of the paper. All the analytical expressions is considered both inductive and capacitive coupling.
