  • Abstract
    We describe a multi-band DFT-spread-OFDM equalizer that combines overlap-and-add dispersion compensation with OFDM demultiplexing for reduced guard interval and lowered DSP complexity, and demonstrate it in the transmission of a 22-Gbaud signal over 6400-km SSMF.
