Abstract :
This manuscript presents data collection of variable wind speed to study the change in power and power coefficient. A mathematical equation of the wind power system also proved. The system consists of a variable speed wind system connected to synchronous generator. For power generation, synchronous generator is employed. This generator is connected to grid or standalone load by means of rectifier, DC link, an inverter and filter. The data collected for the study is from ENERCON wind power plant.
