Abstract :
Brushless dc (BLDC) drives have received significant attention, owing to their high efficiency, electromagnetic interference, and high mechanical reliability due to the absence of brushes. This paper discusses random pulse width modulation control for a BLDC motor drive; Boost and Buck boost converter control of a BLDC motor drive and a BLDC drive using a fuel cell model. In order to drive the motor with the available low voltage, boost and buck boost converter was implemented, to operate the BLDC motor with the renewable energy sources, fuel cell is used and to disperse the acoustic noise and to suppress both lower and higher order harmonics random pulse width modulation technique was introduced.
