Abstract
The investigations of solutions of the synthesis problem for a plane rectangular array according to the prescribed requirements to the power directivity pattern (DP) dependent on two physical parameters describing the electrical and physical sizes of aperture and spatial angle, in which the necessary DP is given, are presented. It is shown that the non-uniqueness and bifurcation of solutions are characteristic features of this class of problems. The equation on finding such set of values of parameters, at which bifurcation of solutions occurs, is derived. Numerical algorithms for finding the optimal solutions of the synthesis problem are constructed and the numerical examples are given.
