Abstract :
A two steps strategy is presented for phaseless antenna diagnosis. In the first step, an antenna setup derived from Leith-Upatnieks holography with synthesized reference wave is used to retrieve the phase of an amplitude-only measurement. Instead of using a phase shifter to synthesize the phase of the reference wave, a set of mechanical shifts are applied to the probe to produce the same effect. As a consequence, the setup is simplified and the use of a phase shifter is avoided. Next, the retrieved amplitude and phase are introduced into a general purpose diagnosis algorithm.
