Abstract :
Miniaturization has always been a critical challenge in the field of antenna design. Antenna design using fractal geometry has given a better solution for this issue. In this direction many works have been performed for designing a miniaturized antenna using Koch curve fractal geometry. In this proposed work log periodic fractal antenna has been designed with first iteration and second iterations. Performances of these antennas has been evaluated and compared with normal log periodic antenna. Simulation results show that the second iteration log periodic fractal antenna gives best performance amongst all.
