  • Abstract
Wireless communication technology has proven to be one of the fastest and most widely used throughout the world. Even though antennas are satisfying the requirements of users in wire lesser a but still the challenge of reducing the dimensions further and enhancing the performance never ends and this paper aims to presents an improvement in communication technology by reducing the size and increasing the performance using sierpinski carpet antenna. The sierpinski carpet antenna is one among the fractalantenna as which are known to be most challenging research area nowadays. In the field of communication two categories of signals play an important role they are narrowband and broadband signals. In this paper an attempt is made to generate sierpeinsikiantenna using simulation which uses self similarity in the geometry over several frequency bands and to plot return loss vs frequency to show the frequencies at 2.0 GHz/3.9 GHz/4.5GHz/5.7GHz/7.3GHz/8.2GHz which minimum return loss occur for base shape, and first iteration, second iteration for broadband. The design analysis took place between ranges of using the HFSS simulation and the simulated results shows performance enhancement in terms of gain and comparison of return loss for different iterations.
