Abstract
The article is devoted to 3D vision system and the impact of certain configurations on the resolution of an image constructed with the use of active vision. It discusses the relationship between the resolution obtained in the vision system and the type and geometry of the observed object. An example is provided describe the method of building a height profile and then a three-dimensional image representing the examined object. Based on the obtained image, defects in the image resulting from the adopted three-dimensional image construction method are discussed.
