Abstract :
This paper proposes a new control strategy for LLC resonant inverter for induction heating appliances. This control strategy is a combination of phase-shift control and time-sharing control technique. The output power is controlled by using the phase-shift control method. Time-sharing control is used to increase the output frequency. With the use of shunt capacitors, the system can operate in soft switching. The validity of the proposed method is verified by MATLAB simulation.
