  • Abstract
With reference to the control problem for the nonlinear model of the fermentation process, based on the analysis of predictive control theory, we introduced the Dynamic Matrix Control (DMC) predictive control algorithm. Followed we select the equilibrium point by the linearization of the nonlinear model of the fermentation process. Then we build the forecast model and introduce the dynamic matrix control, by rolling optimization and feedback correction we obtain multi-step prediction in order to gain more control information. At last through the simulation studies we prove that the method can achieve good control results.
