Abstract

Innovative city building is not only an important guarantee to achieve the strategic objectives of the innovation-oriented country, but also the trend and direction of regional economic development. Luoyang is one of the earliest city that started constructing innovative urban , and also the only first innovation pilot city recognized by by the Ministry of Science and Technology in Henan Province. This article gives a more in-depth analysis on building national innovative city in Luoyang based on SWOT analysis method, including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, and gives the strategic choice to accelerate the national innovative city construction of Luoyang.
