  • Abstract
    Based on a quasi-static magnetic field solution for a rotor winding carrying trapezoidal periodic currents, power losses analytical solution is discussed. The winding is placed in an open rectangular slot. Particular formulae for square and trapezoidal waveforms are also discussed.
