Abstract :
The modified linear feedback controller is proposed for stabilizing the unstable periodic orbits and suppressing the global chaotic behaviors into regular behaviors in conservative systems. Compared to the traditional linear feedback controllers, the controller has the advantages that the controlled system remains conservative property or the controlled system is conservative in most of the time and dissipative at other time. Numerical results show that the controller is quite effective. The method is robust against the presence of weak external noise.
