Abstract
This paper presents the effort taken in re-designing the microprocessor systems course to ECE students. After managing to introduce wireless and multi-sensory systems in previous years, students´ approaches to deal with system complexity brought about new challenges. In this paper, the new relevant topics introduced in the current course offering are described. Course organization is outlined, together with the details of labs and projects.
