Abstract
In the Hospital Universitario de San Vicente Fundación was implemented the program of Techno-surveillance since 2009, which looks through the voluntary report the identification, evaluation, study and analysis of the adverse events and incidents caused by the biomedical equipment, to prevent their future appearance under an investigation. During the 2012 the institution achieved to decrease the avoidable problems with the biomedical devices, getting the goal of a 15%. Besides the implementation of the AMFE started, for minimize the happening of the events.
