Abstract :
TWTA remains the most efficient solution for Power Amplifiers dedicated to Telecommunication Payloads. In answer to the request from Satellite Operators, Integrators and Designers for more and more flexible solutions, Thales Alenia Space proposes a Very High Efficiency Dual TWTA with Flexibility features directly accessible from ground. This Dual Flexible LCTWTA offers opportunities of independent TWT Power controls over a 3dB range, together with the TWT´s efficiency maximization at the operating frequency within the TWT product family frequency band.
