Abstract
One of the biggest issues ever since men realized that natural resources are going to be finished one day is to find a replacement, Apart from that fossil fuels is one of the key factors in global warming, pollution and greenhouse gas. In order to address such problems using renewable energies such as sunlight, wind, rain and so forth is essential in the current century which is named as green technology century as well. To do so The United Nations, governments, universities around the world, and environmental activists alongside with scientists who care about nature and future of the earth, have already started researches and investigations over possible ways to replace fossil fuels with a safer, cleaner and more economical source of energy. After years of researches and investigations, some of the new suggested energy sources are sun, wind, sea waves, rain, tides geothermal heat and some others. These new energy sources require devices and components to collect the energy and convert it to useable type of energy; therefore second phase is to design and build peripherals that can do the conversion. The famous results of this phase were solar panels and wind turbines which have been evolving during years. The idea proposed in this paper is about using wind turbines in highways in order to store, provide and distribute electricity for the highway and surrounding areas.
