Abstract
The paper describes the developed test methods, the test tool implementation/ verification and the results of the Wide Area Multilateration (WAM) performance tests (main focus is on probability of target detection and data latency analysis). The evaluation of the WAM data performance and the definition of test methods were contributing to the acceptance tests of the Precision Arrival Monitor for Frankfurt approach (PAM-FRA) WAM sensor and to the update of related surveillance standard for WAM systems (EUROCAE ED-142) [1].
