Abstract :
Communication is the life-blood of a project, whether permanent or temporary. It is essential for project stakeholders to identify and evaluate communication efficiency, which can reveal the relationships of responsibilities, powers and interests among stakeholders. This paper explores a new evaluation model of project communication based on cloud gravity centre theory. To assess project communication efficiency, this paper builds an evaluation index system. Then, a new evaluation model based on entropy method and cloud gravity centre (CGC) theory is constructed, which can overcome the contradiction of evaluation criterions between qualitative and quantitative indexes. Finally, the evaluation model was verified by a numerical example. The purpose of this paper is to provide a reference for project stakeholders to improve efficiency of projects management and communication management.
