  • Abstract
    In numerous practical circuit applications, including waveshaping and nonlinear function generation, waveforms are intentionally clipped. That can be achieved in many different ways using diodes, transistors and integrated circuits. In this paper (invited lesson), we are going to show how dedicated min and max circuits can be used for mentioned purpose(s). Also, we are going to show how dedicated min and max circuits can be introduced as a problem solving tool in a soft computing, AI-modeling, etc.
