Abstract :
The paper presents an informal specification of a software product dedicated to manufacturing execution functions in long products hot rolling mill application field. The product is an implementation of so-called Level 3 functions of a CIM pyramid model. The main functional groups of the product are discussed, as well as principal features are described.
