Abstract :
We demonstrated a 44.6 Gbps electro-absorption modulator laser TOSA applicable to CFP2 using a three-layer flexible printed circuit with high tolerance to the position offset caused by finite assembly accuracy. A mask margin of 12% and a path penalty of 0.5dB after 2.4 km SMF transmission were obtained.
