Abstract
A fiber master oscillator-power amplifier (MOPA) has been designed and fabricated in order to optimize the output signal. The condition for producing pure signal without amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) is determined using spectrum analysis of the input/output signal to/from amplifier. The symmetrical noises also take place which can be eliminated at higher pump powers.
