Abstract
Autistic individuals suffer from sensory impairment and can become frustrated in conversational settings involving multiple people. This paper describes a fully-interactive system that allows autistic persons to choose which person´s speech they would like to focus on, thereby giving them a sense of control. A prototype of a headset is built which consists of two microphones mounted on the two sides of wearable glasses and headphones. Voice detection and localization algorithms are also implemented.
