  • Abstract
    Distributed parametric amplification (DPA) at 1.3-μm wavelength range is experimentally demonstrated, the first time to the best of our knowledge, in a spool of 25-km SMF. Multi-channel amplification is achieved with ~ 3-dB on-off gain.
