Abstract
A rigorous mathematical model has been developed to describe axially-symmetric magnetic-type eigenoscillations of an OR with a spherical dielectric insert. Discreteness and finite multiplicity of the eigenfrequency spectrum have been shown. A mathematically grounded algorithm for spectrum evaluation has been designed.
