Abstract :
Simulation is an effective method to assist designing SAR interferometry system. In vegetational area, volume scattering is an important scattering phenomenon. It is necessary to simulate volume scattering in simulation system. This paper gives two methods to simulate volume scattering. One is based on voxel model, this method is suitable for intricate scene simulation. Another is based on statistic model, this method is suitable for rapid simulation. Simulated results prove the validity of these methods.
