  • Abstract
    This paper analyses the application requirements of spaceborne SAR system, and provides the general design flow of spaceborne SAR system design. Some spaceborne SAR systems are researched, which either have been launched successfully in recent years or being manufactured. The concerned technical factors of system design are contrasted and analysed, such as orbit design, configuration design, power system design, attitude and orbital control, SAR payload specifications and data transmission. Some unique technical problems of spaceborne SAR system design are summarized, and solutions and advises are put forward based on technology actuality.
