Abstract
Netted radar systems are known for being able to achieve better radar performance by fusing information obtained from multiple radars. An effective radar disposition algorithm is proposed in this paper. The mathematical model for radar optimal disposition is established according to the coverage diagrams of radars, RCS of the interested targets, bandwidth, signal pattern differences, etc. The optimal disposition is computed by an ant colony algorithm successfully. Simulation results demonstrate that the algorithm performs well in radar netting.
