Abstract :
High resolution three dimensional (3D) imaging can be gained with geosynchronous circular SAR (GEOCSAR). Since the integration time of GEOCSAR may be as long as 24 hours, the effect of temporal variation of the tropospheric refractive index can´t be ignored if well focused images are to be obtained. Based on the model of the diurnal variation of the refractivity, we present the reconstructed images affected by the phase error resulted from the temporal variation of the tropospheric refractive index.
