Abstract :
This paper presents the latest result of the speed normalization in the frequency domain for the same ground vehicle target with varies velocity ranges of the ground forward scatter radar system. The four phase shifted simulated reference functions are introduced in the speed estimation algorithm and has been investigated the performance and accuracy by the RMSE criterion. Utilizing the optimum velocity estimation result, the frequency domain PSD signatures are organized after the time domain speed normalization algorithm. The velocity normalization result indicates that the VHF frequency channels applied in the ground forward scatter radar mapping with the fixed reference functions. The outcome of this paper provides us with more accurate way of estimating the speed of ground target in forward scatter radar system.
